With extensive sailing experience, warm hospitality and a passion for the Caribbean, Captain Dominik and Chef Rebeka take care of every detail so you can simply relax, explore and enjoy the journey.
Captain Dominik
With more than 40,000 nautical miles at the helm, Dominik brings extensive sailing experience, technical knowledge and a calm, capable approach to every charter aboard JUMEAUX.
Dominik began his career skippering sailing yachts and catamarans along Croatia’s Adriatic coast before expanding throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. His experience includes the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Greece, Italy, Spain and destinations throughout the Caribbean. He has also completed dozens of yacht deliveries across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Atlantic, building invaluable experience in navigation, yacht preparation and maintenance along the way.
A certified RYA Yachtmaster Offshore 200 GT, Dominik has worked extensively aboard large sailing catamarans, including Lagoon 51 and Lagoon 55 models. Most recently, he gained firsthand experience aboard a Bali 5.8, giving him valuable familiarity with the same yacht model as JUMEAUX. His background also includes marine maintenance, rigging and mechanical work, complemented by training in first aid, marine communications, safety and security.
Before making the sea his career, Dominik worked in fine dining and aboard Royal Caribbean cruise ships, experiences that shaped his natural approach to hospitality and guest service. A graduate of the Croatian Police Academy, he also brings a strong foundation in responsibility, preparedness and safety to his role as captain.
Active, curious and resourceful, Dominik enjoys sharing his love of sailing and helping guests experience the Caribbean at its best. Whether navigating to a favorite anchorage or helping guests make the most of a day on the water, his goal is to create a JUMEAUX experience that feels relaxed, comfortable and memorable from the moment guests step aboard.
Chef Rebeka
With a passion for great food and warm hospitality, Rebeka brings a thoughtful, guest-focused approach to dining aboard JUMEAUX. Her background spans luxury hospitality, pastry, guest experience and yacht service, giving her a natural ability to create meals that are as memorable as the destinations guests explore.
Rebeka brings firsthand Caribbean charter experience from her time as a yacht chef with The Moorings in the British Virgin Islands. Her culinary background also includes work as a pâtissier, while earlier roles with Park Hyatt Vienna and Le Méridien Vienna helped shape her commitment to attentive service and elevated hospitality. She holds a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management and certifications in food safety, yacht safety and medical fitness.
Her menus are fresh, varied and designed around each group. Before every charter, Rebeka considers guests’ preferences, dietary needs and allergies, with menus that can be adapted for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian and other dietary requirements. From relaxed breakfasts and colorful lunches to beautifully prepared dinners and homemade desserts, she enjoys creating food that feels special without losing the relaxed spirit of a Caribbean vacation.
For Rebeka, sharing a meal is an important part of the charter experience. Her goal aboard JUMEAUX is to make every guest feel welcome, cared for and excited to see what’s coming out of the galley next.
